Steve's Biography

Universally liked (even by the hard-to-please Rudy), Steve and his gargantuan tusks proved extremely helpful during more than one Evolution Challenge. His herbivorous nature made group meals occasionally inconvenient, but he more than made up for this with a pleasant demeanor and an open offer to take fellow contestants for rides on his back.

Some Evolution fans believe that Steve's easygoing nature is overcompensation for the teasing he undoubtedly endured during childhood, not only for his overall girth, but also for the disproportionate size of his nose. Comments of this nature seemed to be the only thing ever to faze the typically unflappable Steve, but even then he would only get quiet for a few minutes before returning to his more familiar and genial self.

Steve's mammoth size (second only to Rex) and thick natural insulation got him through the ever-important Ice Age Challenge, but his reluctance to adapt to conditions after this challenge had ended resulted in his unfortunate demise.
